Dialysis Technician

About the Role:

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing individualized care for patients with chronic kidney disease. As a Patient Care Technician, you will be an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes for every patient.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities
• Guide new patients through a comprehensive 120-day education plan
• Record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment
• Set up and break down dialysis blood systems for treatment
• Insert and remove patient access needles
• Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes, and inform the charge nurse of any concerns
• Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight
• Determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly
• Maintain professional working relationships, observing patient privacy and rights
• Maintain and track inventory
• Perform laboratory work

Schedule and Compensation:

Full-time, four 10-hour shifts starting at 4:45am; Sundays off; no overnight shifts

Pay range from $23-$27 per hour, depending on healthcare experience; experience not required
