Accounting Instructor, Payroll Specialist

College of DuPage is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Accounting and Payroll courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for course planning and instruction in a multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Accounting and Payroll courses in a variety of delivery modes, including face-to-face, online, hybrid, and blended formats.
- Develop and implement course materials, assessments, and evaluations.
- Provide student support and guidance in a classroom, lab, or clinical setting.
- Meet course and program learning objectives, and assess student learning outcomes.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in accounting and payroll.
- Master's degree in Accounting or a related field, or a combination of 18 hours of accounting courses and experience working in a bookkeeping role.
- Previous work experience in payroll and knowledge of payroll software.
- Knowledge of the payroll industry and opportunities for employment.
- Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching.
- Ph.D. in Accounting or a related field.
- Experience teaching accounting and payroll courses in a higher education setting.
- Knowledge of accounting software and technology.
