Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated individual with a creative flair and an organized mindset to fill the position of Merchandise Associate. This role is essential in ensuring our sales floor is beautifully presented and meticulously maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Enhance company sales growth and profitability by efficiently managing the stockroom and sales floor.
  2. Assist in executing display changes as directed by leadership.
  3. Support the implementation of seasonal and weekly floor plans.
  4. Maintain and stock all sales displays, ensuring prioritization of cleanliness and signage.
  5. Participate in creating eye-catching window displays.
  6. Handle receiving and processing of merchandise shipments.
  7. Safely assist with customer pick-up orders.
  8. Support inventory control functions to ensure financial and inventory accuracy.
  9. Maintain proper lighting and product awareness throughout the store.
  10. Exhibit excellent customer service by demonstrating a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
  11. Engage in weekly merchandising meetings and training sessions.
  12. Foster teamwork by collaborating effectively with all associates.
  13. Stay updated on relevant technology and systems through ongoing training.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in stock, distribution, or retail preferred.
  • Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capability to lift and move up to 65 pounds, with assistance for heavier items.

Availability:

  • Full-Time: Open availability for flexible hours, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
  • Part-Time: Availability to work two or more weekend days and at least one weekday or evening.
