Job Title: Local Contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Labor and Delivery Specialist. This is a per diem contract position that offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements:
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods and maintain a high level of physical stamina.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of medical terminology.
  • A minimum of two years of current RN Labor & Delivery experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited RN program.
  • Active unencumbered Illinois RN state license.
  • One year of Cerner experience.
