CRNA Anesthesiologist

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. As a key member of the anesthesia team, the CRNA will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations, including health history, physical exams, and diagnostic studies
Obtain informed consent for anesthesia and perform preoperative and intraoperative care
Prepare and administer pre-anesthetics medications, anesthesia induction, maintenance, and emergence
Perform airway management, insert peripheral venous catheters, and manage Bier Blocks
Provide non-invasive monitoring modalities and evaluate patient response during emergence from anesthesia
Initiate and administer respiratory support and pharmacological or fluid support of the cardiovascular system during the post-anesthetics
Requirements:
Graduate from an approved School of Nursing and hold an unencumbered current state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
Must have licensure in the State of Illinois and at least one full year (12 months) experience as a CRNA
Must have BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
