ECU Health Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a travel position in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). This role offers an attractive incentive bonus of up to $30,000 for full-time commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing-Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association Standards of Practice.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify expected outcomes, and evaluate patient progress.
- Provide care sensitive to the unique needs of pediatric patients and their families.
- Promote effective teamwork and communication within the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required; this position is not suitable for new graduates.
- Preferred experience in Pediatrics, ICU, and Emergency Room settings.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Current NC RN license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state is mandatory.
Work Schedule:
- 9 FTE (3) 12-hour shifts with rotating schedules.
