We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at LifeBridge Health.
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our Patient Care Services team, responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients and their families. As an Emergency Department Nurse, you will be part of a dynamic team that delivers exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Monitor patient progress, revising care plans as needed
- Supervise and delegate patient care activities to team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- At least 2 years of experience in emergency care, with a minimum of 3 years of acute emergency experience for PRN RNs
- CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider certification
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification
- RN - Registered Nurse licensure
- ENCP - Emergency Nurse Pediatric certification
- CEN - Certified Emergency Nurse certification
- NIHSS - National Stroke Association NIH Stroke Scale certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Previous experience in emergency care as a technician or intern
