Samba Care is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Peoria, Illinois.

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Explaining the ultrasound procedure to patients and providing support.
  • Programming and adjusting the scanner for specific procedures and ensuring the transducer captures images from every angle.
  • Evaluating images for quality and interpreting them to assist Physicians in diagnosing and treating diseases.
  • Presenting images and preliminary findings to Physicians.
  • Maintaining patients' records and medical notes on the ultrasound procedure.
  • Maintaining the ultrasound equipment and sterilizing procedure rooms.
  • Assisting Radiologists with vascular ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided biopsies.

Samba Care offers a competitive pay package based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
