We offer comprehensive assistance, including licensed childcare and one of the few on-site pet accommodations in the state, ensuring that every family member can find safety and healing together. POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an enthusiastic Criminal Justice Manager to oversee and direct our Early Victim Engagement, Law Enforcement, and Court initiatives. In this capacity, you will work closely with the criminal justice system to advocate for survivors in high-risk situations. You will manage program operations, collaborate with law enforcement and judicial representatives, and lead a dedicated team to ensure that survivors receive exceptional crisis support, case management, and advocacy services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Program Oversight: Manage the administration and functionality of the Early Victim Engagement and CPI programs.
  • Community Engagement: Serve as the liaison between Harbor House and criminal justice entities. Collaborate directly with law enforcement, judicial systems, and community organizations to identify and assist high-risk domestic violence cases.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of committed advocates, ensuring they provide high-quality crisis support, case management, and advocacy services to survivors.
  • Community Representation: Act as the representative of Harbor House within the community, actively participating in court proceedings, law enforcement collaborations, and on-the-ground initiatives to protect and empower survivors.
  • Documentation: Ensure accurate record-keeping and compile statistical reports to fulfill funding obligations and support our mission.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Social Work, Legal Studies, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline. Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role and 2 years in service management, preferably within a domestic violence program, law enforcement, or a related victim advocacy setting.
  • Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of personnel policies and procedures.
    • Ability to assess program needs and implement effective changes.
    • Demonstrated crisis intervention capabilities with a swift and effective response.
    • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in computer applications.
    • Valid driving record required.
    • Fluency in both English and Spanish is advantageous.
TRAINING REQUIREMENT
  • Completion of a 3-day training to achieve CORE certification is mandatory prior to engaging with survivors.
