Position Title: JWICS & SAP Engineer

Travel Requirements: Up to 10% of the time
Key Responsibilities:
The JWICS & SAP Engineer plays a vital role in supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) under the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The responsibilities include:
- Specializing in the management and operation of a JWICS environment, ensuring cybersecurity compliance, operational continuity, and performing general IT tasks to maintain optimal performance.
- Building, maintaining, and configuring Windows workstations and thin clients.
- Executing administrative operations and maintenance tasks for both hardware and software.
- Troubleshooting system errors and user-related issues.
- Monitoring resource utilization and system performance.
- Conducting operations and maintenance patching and upgrades.
- Collaborating with other teams to resolve Remedy Incidents related to systems and infrastructure.
- Providing SAP administration support as needed.
- Assisting with additional Systems Engineering/Administration tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
Applicants must possess one of the following combinations of education and experience:
- High School Diploma (or GED) with 10 years of general experience;
- Associate's degree with 8 years of general experience;
- Bachelor's degree with 6 years of general experience;
- Master's degree with 4 years of general experience.
Additionally, candidates must have:
- A minimum of 6 years of directly related experience.
- A current DoD IAT Level II Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE Certification).
- An active DoD Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI Security Clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will have:
- Experience in Systems Administration/Engineering, specifically managing Windows desktops, servers, and office applications.
- Familiarity with HP workstations and thin clients.
- Knowledge of Networking and Cybersecurity principles.
- Experience with Remedy Incident and Change Management.
