Dentist - Correctional Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a skilled General Dentist to provide high-quality dental services in a secure facility setting. As a Dentist - Correctional Healthcare Specialist, you will be responsible for examining, diagnosing, and treating patients with professionalism and care.
About the Role
This part-time position requires a licensed Dentist to work in the Fairfax area, providing general dentistry services to incarcerated individuals. The successful candidate will have access to our Chief Dental Officer for clinical consultation and support, as well as malpractice reimbursement. Services are performed on-location in a controlled environment, and the successful candidate will be required to pass a facility background clearance.
Responsibilities
- Examine and diagnose patients consistent with professional standards.
- Document each dental encounter using the SOAP format, update patient health history, and obtain patient consent prior to delivering care.
- Submit patient treatment logs to the Corporate Office after each dental visit.
- Perform dental services within designated hours of operation.
- Communicate with Corrections Manager at the Corporate Office on a regular basis.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted State Dental License.
- Graduate from an accredited school of Dentistry (DDS/DMD).
- Experienced clinician preferred.
- Confident and proficient in surgical technique.
- Recent graduates who have completed a Residency Program are encouraged to apply.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
