We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a reputable hospital in Johnson City, Tennessee. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary:

This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a PCU setting, providing care to patients with complex medical needs. As a travel nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry developments
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Tennessee
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in PCU/Tele
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
  • Flexibility and adaptability in new environments
