Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Duke Hospital's Abdominal and Trauma Clinic. As a key member of our team, you'll provide professional nursing care to patients with complex abdominal problems, including medical emergencies and traumas. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Plan and provide professional nursing care for patients in accordance with the scope of the RN as defined by the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein
- Assist other nursing personnel in the delivery of nursing care and act as a team leader or charge nurse for a group of patients or an entire unit
- Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience is required
- Graduation from an accredited Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher), Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program is required
- Nurses hired at Duke Health with a valid compact license are required to obtain their North Carolina nursing license within 90 days of their start date
