Job Description:

As an Infusion Nurse II at Option Care Health, you'll play a crucial role in coordinating and delivering intermediate direct patient care to individuals in their homes or alternate infusion suites. Your responsibilities include:

  • Innovative Patient Care: Initiate, develop, and implement intermediate nursing plan of care treatments, evaluating patient progress towards goals, perform treatments, administer medications and ensure patient safety and continuity.
  • Empower through Education: Educate patients and families, providing hands-on and verbal instruction for prescribed therapy. Assess patient needs through each visit, re-evaluate needs, responses to therapies and supplemental physician orders.
  • Effective Communication: Collaborate with the clinical team, medical providers, and patients to facilitate seamless continuity of care. This will include coordinating discharge planning.
Qualifications:
  • Active RN License: Unrestricted license in the state of practice.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
  • CPR Certification: Current certification required.
