Job Title: Commercial Sales Manager

AutoZone is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Sales Manager to join our team. As a Commercial Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving commercial sales within your assigned location, developing and maintaining positive relationships with commercial customers, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commercial Sales: Achieve sales targets by successfully maintaining and developing commercial sales, developing new accounts through face-to-face and telephone contact with potential customers.
  • Customer Service: Act as the primary contact for commercial customers, actively maintaining open lines of communication between AutoZone and commercial customers.
  • Delivery and Logistics: Ensure efficient delivery of products by planning delivery routes and managing drivers, ensuring appropriate delivery documentation is generated for each delivery.
  • Product Knowledge: Act as a consultative partner to commercial customers by maintaining expert knowledge on automotive parts and industry, conducting research to guarantee the customer is offered the 'right part for the right price.'
  • Account Management: Maintain records and billing for commercial accounts, process returns and reconcile accounts.
  • Relationship Building: Visit commercial accounts and ensure accounts are serviced and deliveries are made as promised, contribute to the AutoZone 'one-team' environment by assisting customers and AutoZoners with various aspects of the business.
  • Leadership and Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with management team, assist with training and developing drivers, commercial specialists, and other AutoZoners as directed by the SM or DM.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment while ensuring AutoZoners are implementing those practices, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Accident and Claim Procedures: Follow proper accident and claim procedures, comply with safe driving rules and procedures, and ensure all Commercial Zoners have approved driver status.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Properly maintain vehicle(s) and take the necessary steps to report vehicle maintenance issues.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge: Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Effective leader with excellent communication skills, strong decision-making abilities, and excellent selling skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the business needs, including holidays, evenings, and weekend shifts.
