We are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Treatment Operator to join our team at the Northern Edge WWTP. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient treatment of wastewater.
About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as relevant post-secondary education in chemistry or biology. Experience in operating wastewater facilities and holding a Level 3 ADEQ certification or equivalent is preferred.
You must have a valid driver's license, CDL learner's permit, or CDL Class "A" with Hazmat Endorsement (subject to motor vehicle record review). We require incumbents to obtain a CDL Class "A" with Hazmat Endorsement within 9 months from date of employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate physical characteristics of waste streams to ensure effective treatment processes.
- Perform security, safety, and administrative procedures to maintain a secure and healthy work environment.
- Evaluate and maintain equipment to optimize treatment efficiency.
- Operate equipment to manage treatment processes and monitor water quality.
- Conduct laboratory analysis to assess treatment effectiveness.

A competitive estimated salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
