Position Overview

The primary role involves operating company vehicles to transport manufactured and finished goods to various job sites, ensuring the materials are unloaded to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire knowledge of company products, operational procedures, and customer service standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
  • Load vehicles according to the specified list of materials.
  • Organize and secure loads effectively.
  • Ensure load accuracy by obtaining verification from the yard manager before departure.
  • Deliver and unload materials at customer locations.
  • Adhere to delivery schedules and directions.
  • Conduct regular inspections of vehicles for safety compliance.
  • Document delivery details on sales invoices and communicate customer messages.
  • Operate trucks and forklifts safely, complying with all traffic regulations and safety protocols.
  • Follow all loading, delivery, and yard security procedures.
  • Utilize digital platforms for tasks such as uploading images and maintaining E-Logs.
  • Engage with customers to address and resolve issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the yard and assigned areas.
  • Comply with all CDL regulations as mandated by the DOT.
  • Possess the capability to transport oversized loads.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • A strong desire for personal and professional growth.
  • Ability to respond promptly and accurately to challenges.
  • Capability to stand or walk for extended periods (4-10 hours).
  • Proficiency in computer operations.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Class A driver's license with Manual Endorsement, current automobile insurance, and a clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed.
