We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director of Endocrinology to join our team at Essentia Health in Brainerd, MN. This is an excellent opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible endocrinologist to lead our endocrinology practice and contribute to the growth and development of our medical group.

Practice Overview

Our endocrinology practice provides comprehensive care to patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, and other endocrine-related conditions. We have a strong reputation in the community and offer a wide range of services, including routine office visits, medication management, and education on healthy lifestyle habits.

As Medical Director of Endocrinology, you will be responsible for leading our team of healthcare professionals, developing and implementing clinical protocols, and ensuring that we are providing high-quality patient care. You will also have the opportunity to participate in research studies, educate students and residents, and contribute to the development of our department's strategic plan.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate occasional outreach or after-hours work. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a passion for teaching and mentoring. The estimated annual salary for this role is $250,000 - $300,000 based on experience and qualifications.

  • Board certification or board eligibility in endocrinology
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting

  • Possess a valid medical license and DEA registration
