The MDS Nurse plays a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. Responsibilities- Evaluate care provided to each resident and keep care plans current
- Lead the RAI process and ensure accurate and timely assessments
- Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to ensure ongoing care and quality of life
- Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents
- Coordinate care, resident assessment, and education
- Graduate from a National League of Nursing (NLN) or American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) accredited nursing program
- Minimum of one year experience working as a licensed nurse with the senior population
- Resident Assessment Coordinator-Certified (RAC-CT) or management/supervisory experience preferred
- Unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
