Sampson Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced board-certified Emergency Medicine physician to join its Emergency Medicine team.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with being the solo provider and will maintain a strong focus and commitment to providing outstanding and compassionate care to all patients.
This is a nights-only or mixed days/nights position with a required schedule of 12-14 shifts per month. The physician will act as a solo physician covering the Emergency Department.
Highlights of the opportunity include:
- Competitive compensation
- 1099 Direct Contract Opportunity
- 22-bed Emergency Department with strong Physician Assistant support
- 24-hour hospitalist and radiology coverage
- Wide scope of services provided at the hospital including General Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, and Urology
- Strong air and ground support to immediately transfer patients when needed
- Ability to live in close proximity to Raleigh or Wilmington, North Carolina
- Family-friendly community with an affordable cost of living
In addition to a competitive compensation and benefits plan, qualified applicants may also be eligible for loan repayment, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.
