Job Summary

Smith+Nephew is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development and execution of our US portfolio and digital platform strategy. As Director of Portfolio and Platform Optimisation, you will be responsible for building and implementing a comprehensive strategy that drives business growth and improves operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a US portfolio and digital platform strategy that aligns with our global E&O plans and product phase out plans.
  • Work closely with commercial operations and supply chain teams to drive workflow and cost efficiencies.
  • Build and execute on US asset management strategy to drive workflow and cost efficiencies.
  • Own the downstream launch excellence process for new product rollouts in the US market.
  • Measure and track the execution of deployed solutions post-launch.
  • Develop and execute the US digital/robotics platform commercialisation plans.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing with at least 5 years of leadership experience and 3+ years of experience in orthopaedic marketing.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in downstream marketing, business strategy, product lifecycle management, or related roles.
  • Strong leadership, motivation, and team building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to anticipate future issues and identify business needs that drive value.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
  • Highly collaborative with ability to meet needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and project management skills.
  • Confirmed ability to optimally lead multiple projects in a multifaceted environment.
  • Proficiency in using analytical tools and software for data analysis and forecasting.
