Avalanche Care is a Home Care Agency in Rockland County NY, offering part-time, full-time, and live-in positions for Certified Home Health Aides.

Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and skilled individuals to provide high-quality care to our patients. As a Home Health Aide with Avalanche Care, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide medication reminders, prepare food as needed, and assist with feeding
  • Accompany patients on medical appointments, shopping trips, and walking excursions
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by cleaning their homes and laundry as needed
Requirements:
  • Valid HHA Certificate
  • Access to a reliable means of transportation
  • Physical Examination including TB test, titers, and drug test (not older than 6 months)
  • Valid ID and 2 reference letters
