Job Summary:

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, responsible for evaluating patients' physical function and providing appropriate treatments. This role may require coverage at multiple locations within our network.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a minimum of a B.S.
  • Current state licensure in Physical Therapy
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet search
  • Reliable transportation for travel between multiple work sites

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients based on departmental standards and modify evaluations as needed
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, physical agents, and manual techniques to patients
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and document patient treatments
  • Communicate with referring physicians regarding patient care and participate in departmental and community in-service programs
  • Supervise affiliated students and attend continuing education courses to stay current in the field
