Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team at HEPCO, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our RF/Electronics Testing services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electronic Circuitry and RF Theory: Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of electronic circuitry and RF theory, including the ability to design, develop, and test complex electronic systems.
  • Schematic Diagrams and Drawings: Ability to read, understand, and create schematic diagrams and drawings, including the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Troubleshooting: Perform troubleshooting to component level, identify and resolve complex technical issues, and document testing and troubleshooting with non-conformance reports.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with peers and Engineering teams to ensure effective testing procedures, share knowledge, and provide technical support.
  • Test Equipment Operation: Utilize various commercial test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes, and multi-meters, to perform testing and validation of electronic systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in RF/Electronics Testing is required, with a strong background in electronic circuitry and RF theory.
  • Secret Clearance: Secret clearance is required for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Test Equipment Operation: Experience with test equipment such as DVM scope, power supplies, and current meters.
  • Computer Skills: Background with computer software, hardware, and network fundamentals, including proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Excel for data analysis and documentation purposes.

Education:

  • Education: Requires a High School or Trade School diploma or its equivalent, with a strong foundation in electronic technology.
  • Knowledge: Basic knowledge of electronic technology acquired through advanced study of up to two (2) years.
