Position: Planner / Scheduler

The role of Planner / Scheduler encompasses the creation of job plans, resolution of scheduling conflicts, and upkeep of the Maximo maintenance management system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Maximo equipment and preventive maintenance programs
• Organize and schedule preventive maintenance activities
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to reduce equipment downtime
• Manage equipment documentation and ensure mechanical integrity
• Facilitate scheduling discussions with supervisory staff
• Develop weekly and daily maintenance plans
• Ensure prompt processing of work orders
• Review completed work orders for potential enhancements
• Identify and address recurring maintenance challenges

Essential Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in mechanical equipment operation and maintenance
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Proven capability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills
• Ability to think critically and translate instructions into actionable tasks
• Basic understanding of pipes, valves, and fittings
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
• Consistent attendance is crucial

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in a plant or related field, including familiarity with Maximo
• Experience in the maintenance of plant equipment

Physical Requirements:

• Capability to lift, push, and pull at least 50lbs
• Ability to work in various climate conditions
• Able to perform tasks in different physical positions
• Compliance with Personal Protective Equipment guidelines
• Experience working in industrial settings with potential hazards and noise exposure
