Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing on-site instruction to undergraduate students during clinical rotations. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality patient care while serving as a clinical preceptor to students, demonstrating and assisting them with unit tasks and clinical skills. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills to enhance patient experience and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Instruction: Deliver clinical care to patients while serving as a clinical preceptor to undergraduate students, demonstrating and assisting students with unit tasks and clinical skills.
  • Administrative: Provide feedback to faculty on student performance during clinical rotations, evaluate student clinical performance, and send recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Utilize nursing practice to assign care for patients and families, review written requirements with students, providers, and patients' families.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the specified clinical setting specialty applying for, e.g., Med/Surg, Pediatrics, Mental Health, Critical Care, Community, Obstetrics, Leadership and Management.
  • Licenses & Certifications: Registered Nurse.
