Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Evening Cook and Server to join our team at Holiday Inn Albuquerque. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare all food items based on standardized recipes for the Restaurant/Dining Outlet Cafe Room Service Employee Cafeteria and Banquets.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen and work areas.
  • Minimize waste and maximize cost/production ratio.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance and adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
  • Comply with certification requirements, including Food Handlers Safety.
  • Prepare and display buffet food items according to Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
  • Maintain post on kitchen line during operating hours to prepare food to order.
  • Prepare food for Banquets and Associate Cafeteria as specified.
  • Break down buffets and kitchen line, storing food and equipment properly at the end of each meal period.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Food Handlers Certification (must comply with State requirements).
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
