Job Title: Clinical Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a Clinical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of psychosocial evaluation/assessment, diagnostic, counseling therapy, crisis intervention, and/or case management services in a high-intensity clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide, oversee, and/or administer psychosocial evaluation/assessment, diagnostic, counseling therapy, crisis intervention, and/or case management services to patients.
- Lead and train lower-level counselors/social workers, students, and/or interns engaged in related therapeutic/patient care activities.
- Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in a related discipline.
- Documented experience in an age-appropriate environment.
- 3 years of directly related experience.
- One of the following licenses/certifications: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the State of New Mexico, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of New Mexico, or Marriage and Family Therapist License in the State of New Mexico.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Bilingual English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo.
Working Conditions:
- May be credentialed by the UNMH Credentialing Committee.
- May be subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements.
- May be subject to working in close proximity to incarcerated individuals.
Physical Conditions:
- Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly.
