Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Paragon Hotel Company. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, public areas, and other hotel facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities
  • Organize and maintain housekeeping carts and supplies
  • Report any discrepancies or issues to the Housekeeping Department Supervisor
  • Turn in lost and found items to the Housekeeping office
  • Assist in maintaining other areas of the hotel, including the associate lounge and locker room, public areas, stairwells, and back of the house area
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience in a branded, quality hotel preferred but not necessary
  • Ability to stand for eight hours, bend, stretch, and reach
  • Ability to push or pull 60 pounds and lift and/or carry 30 pounds
  • Rotating days off, must be available to work weekends
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of proper procedures for handling linens, terry, and other supplies
  • Knowledge of sanitation procedures for supplies, guestrooms, and public areas
  • Knowledge of guestroom cleaning procedures
  • Knowledge of safety and security measures
