We are seeking a highly qualified Nurse Anesthesia Faculty member to join our team at Fairfield University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring nurse anesthesia residents, developing and delivering instructional content, and contributing to the growth and development of our Nurse Anesthesia Program.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and mentor nurse anesthesia residents in didactic, simulation, and clinical settings
- Develop and deliver high-quality instructional content that meets regulatory and professional standards
- Assist in the development and implementation of curriculum revisions and updates
- Participate in recruitment and selection of nurse anesthesia residents
- Collaborate with program administration to monitor and assess trends in nurse anesthesia practice and education
- Maintain open communication with nurse anesthesia residents and provide timely feedback and support
- Doctorate in nursing or related field
- Current CRNA certification by NBCRNA
- Current, unencumbered RN and APRN licenses in Connecticut and Texas
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 1 year teaching and administrative experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a CRNA
