Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Geronimo Hospitality Group. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take customer orders and ensure accuracy and timely delivery of food and beverages
  • Suggest menu items and specials to customers based on their preferences and dietary needs
  • Work closely with restaurant management to address customer concerns and create a positive dining experience
  • Confirm orders with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service
  • Assist with setting tables and rearranging tables to accommodate parties
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Process payments and handle customer transactions efficiently
  • Participate in pre-meal and departmental meetings to stay informed about menu items, promotions, and company initiatives

Requirements

  • One year of server experience preferred, with basic math skills and legible handwriting
  • Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Knowledge of MICROS and Square POS Systems a plus

Physical and Mental Requirements

This role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and frequent hand washing. The employee must be able to work in a loud environment and be exposed to hazards such as cuts, slipping, and tripping.
