Position Overview:

  • No prior experience in PET imaging is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
  • This role offers a balanced work schedule with no weekend shifts or on-call duties.
  • Responsibilities include conducting hybrid imaging procedures in a PET/CT and SPECT/CT environment.
  • Administer and document radioactive isotopes while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Guide patients through the necessary preparation for their examinations.
  • Confirm physician orders and accurately identify patients prior to procedures.
  • Execute all mandated quality control protocols to maintain high standards.
  • Stay current with continuing education to uphold professional licensure.
  • Exciting opportunity for certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist through NMTCB(CT) while working with our educational partners.

Qualifications:

Minimum: CNMT or ARRT(N) certification along with a valid New York State Department of Health Nuclear Medicine License. Current CPR certification from a recognized provider is essential.

Preferred: NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT) certification.

Work Schedule:

Rotating shifts from 6 AM to 5 PM (8.5-hour shifts), with occasional overtime opportunities and no weekend or on-call requirements.

Compensation and Benefits:

A sign-on bonus of $3,000 is available, distributed as $1,500 upon hire and $1,500 after six months of employment.
