The Senior Credit & Collections Analyst plays a critical role in our Accounts Receivable function, serving our Chemical Safety, Jobsite Safety, and Facility Safety businesses. This position ensures timely and accurate payment collection with an emphasis on effective communication and collaboration with internal teams.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for managing the order-to-cash cycle, analyzing short payments, and developing strategies to maximize cash flow and minimize delinquencies. Your expertise will be crucial in resolving complex issues and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Accounts Receivable function for multiple business units and their respective ERP systems.
  • Analyze the order-to-cash cycle and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement collection strategies to optimize cash flow.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Track and analyze short payments, and work closely with Customer Service and Distribution Centers to resolve.
  • Assist with customer master file upkeep and maintenance.
  • Create and analyze reports to measure collections performance and identify areas for improvement.

Your Skills and Expertise:

To succeed in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field. 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable and collections, 2+ years as a lead or Senior Specialist.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Results-focused with issue identification and ability to influence and deliver results.
  • Experience working with customers like Amazon, Grainger, Home Depot, etc.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Benefits and Compensation:

This role offers a competitive base salary ranging from $58,000 - 65,000.
