Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a travel nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. As a travel nurse with TotalMed Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a team of experienced healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical research and best practices.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
