Job Overview:
The Automotive Repair Specialist plays a crucial role in executing vehicle maintenance and repair tasks in alignment with dealership and manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Utilize diagnostic tools to pinpoint mechanical, electrical, and other vehicle-related issues.
2. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and various automotive systems as specified in repair orders.
3. Work efficiently to diagnose issues and complete repairs within set timeframes.
4. Collaborate with service advisors and the parts department to prioritize and schedule necessary repairs.
5. Perform comprehensive quality inspections to ensure all repairs adhere to or surpass industry standards and determine if additional safety services are needed.
6. Address any discrepancies or concerns promptly with the Service Advisor (regarding parts, promised time, etc.).
7. Communicate effectively with customers to understand vehicle problems and clarify recommended repairs.
8. Provide precise cost estimates and timelines for repair work.
9. Accurately document all diagnostic and repair activities.
10. Complete repair orders and maintain thorough records of services rendered.
11. Participate in factory-sponsored training sessions to stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and industry developments.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in a dealership or similar automotive repair environment.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities.
- Must possess a personal set of tools (hand tools, impact wrench, socket set, etc.).
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Comprehensive knowledge of automotive systems, components, and repair methodologies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.

Preferred Qualifications:
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications.
- Manufacturer-specific training.

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday / 1 Saturday per month
