Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Lifeguard in Training. As a Lifeguard in Training, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of patrons at our aquatic facilities. This is a part-time position with a maximum of 29 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of alertness and vigilance while on duty, scanning the pool area for potential hazards and taking immediate action to prevent accidents.
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations, ensuring that patrons comply with pool rules and regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patron inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Participate in regular training and certification programs to maintain and improve lifeguarding skills.
  • Collaborate with other lifeguards and facility staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for patrons.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 15 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Current Lifeguard/CPR certification or ability to obtain within two weeks of hire.
Working Conditions

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on ensuring the safety and well-being of patrons. The noise level is moderate, and the work environment is subject to extreme heat and cold.
