As a Geriatric Care Specialist, you will work with our geriatric clientele in Assisted Living facilities and residential homes, providing top-notch therapy services and promoting a proactive preventative approach to aging-in-place.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing selected components of care and interventions in a technically competent manner
- Providing skilled intervention to improve patient functional independence
- Communicating with families, physicians, and other healthcare team members
- Keeping timely, thorough documentation of services in the medical record
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited college or university with an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy
- Two years of clinical experience in the field of study (preferred)
- Active licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
As a PRN therapist, you will have the flexibility to choose your schedule and work on a per-diem basis. You will be part of an on-call pool of therapists who work as needed, providing therapy services to our patients in various settings.
Compensation: Competitive $50/treatment
