Lead Foreman

The Lead Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of vegetation management crews to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work.

• Prepare projects for work and ensure efficient completion
• Schedule and mobilize labor, equipment, and materials as needed
• Instruct Crew Leaders on work scheduling, processes, and procedures
• Conduct regular work site visits to inspect progress and ensure compliance with standards
• Collaborate with utility foresters and inspectors to clarify work specifications and address customer issues
• Coordinate permissioning processes and respond to customer complaints
• Monitor material consumption and organize crew mobilization during storm-damage response
• Ensure a safe work environment and lead safety initiatives
• Provide training and guidance to employees on work procedures and safety practices
• Investigate accidents and incidents, and take corrective action as needed

• CDL License and Herbicide License preferred
• Ability to use computers and related technology to perform fundamental tasks
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
