Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance with serving meals and feeding, ensuring residents receive nourishment and hydration.
  • Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and toileting, while maintaining resident dignity and comfort.
  • Support residents with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output information to maintain accurate resident records.
  • Respond to resident requests and needs, utilizing resources and materials to promote comfort and satisfaction.
  • Document actions and observations, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Long-term care experience preferred.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Regular sitting, standing, bending, and walking.
  • Lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds.
  • Visual and auditory ability sufficient for written and verbal communication.
