Dishware Attendant

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year.

Kumori Sushi is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a dishwasher. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dishroom and ensuring that all dishes are properly sanitized before use.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Loading, running, and unloading the dishwasher with utensils, glassware, cookware, plates, and trays in a fast and efficient manner.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dishroom, including sanitizing work areas throughout the shift and mopping and sanitizing floors at the end of each shift.
• Setting up the dishroom and dishwashing machine before each shift and breaking them down after every shift.
• Adhering to current food safety and hygiene rules and regulations.

Requirements:

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, with added bonus for fluency in Spanish.
• Punctuality, including availability to work weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical ability to stand and move throughout the length of the shift, bend, and kneel as needed.
• Lift up to 20 pounds.
