Position Overview:
As a vital member of the Lima Memorial Health System, the Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care. The RN is entrusted with the responsibility and accountability for the well-being of assigned patients during their shift, ensuring adherence to the organization's mission, vision, and values.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Patient Care Management:**
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals, including RNs, Surgical Technicians, and Licensed Practical Nurses.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care based on clinical judgment and scientific knowledge.

2. **Team Collaboration:**
- Delegate appropriate tasks to partner caregivers to optimize patient care.
- Provide guidance and education to non-RN staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge in patient care.

3. **Surgical Services Involvement:**
- Perform both circulating and scrub nurse roles across various surgical specialties, including Orthopedics, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Urology, ENT, Neuro, and more.
- Participate in the on-call rotation, ensuring prompt response times and availability as per departmental guidelines.

Qualifications:
- **Education:** Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- **Licensure/Certification:** Valid and unrestricted RN license for the State of Ohio is required, along with current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced certifications such as ACLS, CNOR, and PALS are preferred.
- **Experience:** A minimum of one to three years of nursing experience is preferred.
