Job Summary

We are seeking an Early Childhood Education Specialist to join our team at Arab City Schools. As a key member of our instructional staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational development of young students.

About the Role

This Instructional Paraprofessional position is responsible for providing academic support to students in Pre-K grades. The ideal candidate will have a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent experience in early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities that promote student learning and engagement.
  • Assist with classroom management, including supervising students during activities and maintaining a safe and organized learning environment.
  • Provide individualized support to students who require extra help, including those with special needs.
Requirements
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent experience in early childhood education.
  • 9 semester hours of approved coursework in the field of Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
