Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with agents and internal teams to drive successful outcomes for both the company and policyholders.
2. Collaborate with underwriting assistants to uphold corporate underwriting policies and service standards.
3. Consult with the Regional Underwriting Manager or Supervisor on accounts exceeding individual authority, providing recommendations for action.
4. Meet regional production goals and loss ratio targets for the designated territory.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in commercial lines underwriting.
- Proven expertise in underwriting commercial accounts and fostering agency relationships.
- Relevant coursework in Property and Casualty insurance, such as CPCU, is advantageous.
- Established relationships within the local insurance sector are preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with internal company systems (e.g., WINS, ImageRight).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and technical skills.
