Position Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Chiropractic Care Associate. This role involves supporting the chiropractor in patient management, maintaining accurate patient records, scheduling appointments, and executing various administrative duties. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to assist others.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the chiropractor in delivering patient care, including preparing patients for treatment and administering therapies as instructed.
- Maintain and organize patient records, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and manage the chiropractor's calendar efficiently.
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering inquiries, managing correspondence, and overseeing office supplies.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns effectively.
- Support marketing initiatives, including community event organization and promotional activities.
- Facilitate health maintenance by providing therapy services under the guidance of a chiropractor.
- Identify and address patient care issues to enhance the effectiveness of the chiropractic services.
- Implement treatment programs tailored to patient needs.
- Conduct patient assessments through interviews and physical examinations, while updating therapy histories.
- Review evaluations and test results to identify any abnormal conditions.
- Document patient care activities in both patient and departmental records.
- Administer therapeutic procedures, guiding patients in physical activities and exercises.
- Assist patients with the use of supportive devices such as crutches and canes.
- Educate and counsel patients on therapeutic regimens and wellness promotion.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to established procedures and infection control protocols.
- Monitor treatment trends to meet production objectives effectively.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Medical Assistant certification and/or CA PTA license.
- Experience in kinesiology, personal training, or as an EMT is advantageous.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical or chiropractic assistant role is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software is necessary.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands of this position include regular sitting, using hands for equipment manipulation, and effective communication. The role requires standing, walking, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

The work environment noise level ranges from moderate to high.
