Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Northside Hospital in Cumming, GA. As a key member of our Neonatology department, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth and development of our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Level III neonatal care services at Northside Hospital Forsyth and Northside Hospital Cherokee.
  • Work collaboratively with our team of neonatologists, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for newborns and their families.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, including the use of advanced therapies such as HFOV and iNO.
  • Conduct rounds and provide updates to families on their newborn's condition.
  • Collaborate with our Pediatric Hospitalist Service to provide NBN coverage for over 90% of all newborns born at Forsyth location.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of patients, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with families, healthcare teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Nursing and/or Doctorate in Nursing.
  • Current APRN National Specialty Certification - Board Certified NNP.
  • GA license (or willing to obtain).
  • 2+ years of current experience as NNP (not including RN experience).

Additional Information:

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required. Not accepting Locums candidates. Not accepting new graduate candidates - Current 2+ years of employment experience as NNP (not including RN experience) is required. Must Board Certified Neonatal NP (cannot accept PAs, FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications).
