Emergency Department Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Fairview Health Services. As an Emergency Department RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to individuals of all ages and acuity levels.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including pediatrics, trauma, and psychiatric cases.
- Safely administer medications and infusion therapies, including sedatives, paralytics, and antibiotics.
- Manage patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as chest tube placement and needle thoracentesis.
- Demonstrate ability to safely and accurately operate unit equipment.
- Foster a culture of improvement, efficiency, and innovative thinking.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current MN RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers
- 1 year of Emergency Room RN experience or 120+ hour capstone/immersion/preceptorship in an Emergency Room
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within one year of hire
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within one year of hire
