Job Summary

Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to support our team at Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery, Alabama. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pharmaceutical care and ensuring patient safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of pharmacist procedures, including dispensing medications, counseling patients, and reviewing patient profiles.
  • Ensure prescription directions are accurate and appropriate for individual patients, and intervene with providers as necessary.
  • Supervise inventory control of all pharmaceuticals, maintain records, and ensure pharmacy security.
  • Document significant medication interactions, adverse drug reactions, and patient safety reports.
  • Facilitate medical staff drug utilization reviews and lead pharmacy workflow.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Doctoral degree in pharmacy from a college accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE).
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a pharmacist in the state of Alabama.
  • Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Workers certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in outpatient or community pharmacy within the past 3 years.
  • Ability to read, understand, speak, and write English fluently.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation and Criminal History Background Check (CHBC).
Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment with a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time.
