Job Summary

Hoyleton Youth and Family Services is seeking a highly motivated and culturally competent individual to fill the role of Bilingual Community Navigator II. This part-time position is grant-funded, and the selected candidate will be responsible for educating the community on immigration-related topics and available resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct outreach to Spanish-speaking families to provide information on community resources and support.
  2. Represent the agency/program at community events, fostering relationships and promoting services.
  3. Maintain accurate records of client interactions within the agency database, ensuring compliance with agency and funding requirements.
  4. Support the Puentes team in achieving program goals, as outlined in the grant/program plan.
  5. Participate in training sessions, as identified by the agency and/or funder, to enhance skills and knowledge.
  6. Attend staffing and meetings as needed, contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  7. Develop and conduct education workshops on immigration-related topics, promoting awareness and understanding within the community.
  8. Accompany individuals to requested services, ensuring seamless access to support.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the program.

Requirements:

  1. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
  2. High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  3. Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
  4. Ability to receive a DCFS/CANTS Clearance.
