Job Summary

The YMCA of Greater Waukesha County is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to lead our Before and After School Care program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans, supervising staff, and ensuring the overall success of our program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement engaging and educational programs for children in grades K-5, including lesson plans, activities, and events.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and support a team of staff members, providing guidance and feedback to ensure excellent program delivery.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Build strong relationships with parents, school administrators, and community partners to ensure a seamless and effective program.
  • Program Evaluation and Improvement: Monitor program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions to improve program quality and outcomes.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, staff, and visitors, adhering to YMCA policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications and Training: CPR, First Aid, and other relevant certifications, as well as training in child development and education.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work with diverse populations, and a strong commitment to the YMCA's mission and values.
