The role of a Senior Agile Systems Architect involves guiding program-level software development methodologies, overseeing program execution, addressing obstacles, managing risks, and fostering ongoing enhancements.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Define Product Increments, orchestrate Release Planning Events (RPEs), and establish the Sprint Calendar for the Release Train.
  • Lead Product Increments Planning, conduct Program-Level ceremonies, drive program execution, and mentor Agile Release Trains (ARTs) in the continuous enhancement of value delivery.
  • Consolidate Product Increments and Sprint goals.
  • Facilitate Scrum of Scrums.
  • Ensure comprehensive application of SAFe Principles.
  • Identify risks and collaborate with the Product Line PM for mitigation and/or submission to the Needs and Collection Management Engineering Board.
  • Communicate ART Status to stakeholders (both internal and external).
  • Steer the Release by promoting transparency through metrics to encourage positive transformations.
  • Recognize and facilitate the resolution of dependencies and/or escalate program-level impediments to the IPC team.
  • Assist in Feature Integration Test Coordination.

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
  • Senior-level experience with a minimum of 1 year of practical experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE).
  • Experience in managing release trains within a SAFe framework.
  • SAFe Certified Scrum Master (CSM).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
  • Proven experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), processes, tools, and languages.
